Murideo 8K SEVEN HDMI Signal Generator and Dolby Test Device
Product Information
The Murideo Seven Series delivers Dolby Vision™ and Dolby Audio™ approved signal generation, testing, measurement and calibration. Designed for demanding environments and mission-critical applications, the Seven Series delivers over 1,000 test patterns and customizable audio-visual signals that can be logged, exported and analyzed. It’s the definitive tool for bench technicians, engineers and equipment manufacturers alike.
Dolby Labs approved, the 8K SEVEN is used by prominent world-class manufacturers across the globe for testing Dolby Vision™ and Dolby Audio™ codec compliance. Video display, source device, AVR and signal extension manufacturers have discovered the 8K SEVEN provides a valuable benchmark for assessing product development, design progress evaluation, performance confirmation and final quality control assurance.
Meticulously engineered, the Imaging Science Foundation certified 8K SEVEN has an arsenal of more than 1,000 patterns from industry testing and calibration leaders such as Diversified Video Solutions, ISF, Portrait Displays, PVA, Sony Pictures, Spears & Munsil, and Bill Wetzel. SDR, Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG patterns also include BT.2020 native 10bit & 12 bit content. Users may choose to construct custom test signals combining any video format with any audio format and use reporting functions to log results or perform more intrinsic test tracking with included protocol analyzation. Through the USB 3.0 interface, up to 3 minutes of 4K/60 4:4:4 motion playback may be user-uploaded. Playback at 120fps (@1080p) is also available.
Phenomenally well-sorted video generation is not the only attribute crafted into the 8K SEVEN. Unmatched attention to detail and exact audio standards are equally adhered to. Audio tests include A/V Synchronization, Latency Offset and all Dolby Audio streaming codecs: Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus (w/Atmos), Dolby MAT (w/Atmos) , and Dolby TrueHD (w/Atmos). Audio tests can be transmitted via HDMI and eARC, with ARC supporting LPCM 5.1 & 7.1, Dolby Digital, and Dolby Digital Plus (w/Atmos). A built-in photodiode sensor with microphone enable real-time sync and latency measurements from HDMI, eARC, and ARC.
A bright, easy-to-read large 7” 1080p LCD screen crisply illuminates the 8K SEVEN’s data pages and test results. Simple keypad touchpoints enable easy menu navigation, preset and shortcut selections and provide media control. When connected to a local area network, the built-in Web Interface provides more accessible device control, including management of multiple units on the same network while retaining individual control.
