The RB-AUDIO-02 is a two channel XLR balanced audio ports extender over fiber optic. Unit supports broadcast quality audio signal and requires only one single strand of fiber, singlemode or multimode type. The Transmitter unit has audio XLR female connectors, while the receiver has XLR male type connectors. The fiber optic system uses a 16bit digitally encoded mechanism that ensures highest broadcast quality for the audio signal. Frequency spectrum is 10Hz to 20kHz, providing high fidelity quality to the audio transport.
The RB-AUDIO-02S-T transmitter unit must be matched with the RB-AUDIO-02S-R receiver unit and are sold as a pair. A single strand of fiber, either SM type up to 20Km or MM type up to 2Km reach can be used between transmitter and receiver. An AC adapter with wide 85-240V AC input and stable DC 12V/1A output is included with each transmitter and receiver units.
